South Africa travel plans begin

This is my first blog ever!  How exciting!  I am planning a trip to South Africa in Sept 2013. I wanted to start this blog in preparation of an adventure of a life time.

I will be taking a Jenman 22 day safari from Cape Town to Victoria Falls through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

We will be arriving in Cape Town about three days early and are still unsure what sights are must sees. Then on the other end will be staying 4 days in Victory Falls. One night at the Elephant camp!  Looking forward to some once in a lifetime adventures with this trip.

Cameras

I have purchased the new hero 3 go pro to help document my adventure. I have yet to use it. My son has it right now in Mexico giving it a test drive. Excited to see what this camera can do. I am off to the states this weekend to look for assessories for the go pro. I am thinking the chesty and the head harness are must haves!

I also have a Panasonic lumix superzoom. Again haven't had much time to get to know these cameras but for sure will before my trip. Also just purchases a small tripod. So need to get a good pair of binoculars and I should be set for animal viewing
